Ghost in the Machine
my all but perfect 27” iMac screen is marred by an area of what look like light burn marks. subtle, but noticeable when the screen goes to lighter hues. i tracked my serial number back to its chinese origins to discover it was manufactured at one now infamous FOXCONN facility mainly by a chinese man named Li Chaoxiang. Li Chaoxiang was one of the 13 suicides at FOXCONN.
my monitors imperfections serve as monument to a mans crumbling and overworked brain. I see the face of Li Chaoxiang.
